Air Force Veteran, Author, Philanthropist, and Nationally Recognized Motivational Speaker Mark Lindquist to share experiences from Ukraine March 14th in Grand Forks.
GRAND FORKS, NORTH DAKOTA, February 20th, 2024
On Thursday March 14th the Grand Forks community will have a unique opportunity to learn about the war in Ukraine from an insider lens at an exclusive hosted by Delta Advisory Group (DAG) in conjunction with the MTSI Digital Day at the HIVE. Attendees will be treated to a dynamic evening with military veteran, motivational speaker, and philanthropist Mark Lindquist. Mark served in the U.S. Air Force as an Intelligence Analyst with top secret security clearance, and traveled to 22 countries, including Kuwait and Afghanistan, on humanitarian missions with Air Force Entertainment. Mark has performed as a live entertainer for over 4 million people in 23 countries and 50 states, to include this year’s Thursday Night Football Game at Soldier Field. As an actor he has appeared in ABC’s LOST, CBS’ Hawaii Five-O, and the movie Battleship.
In 2002, three weeks after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Mark went to Poland to offer his military training and expertise in support of the Ukrainian war effort. During the past 20 months he has partnered with trusted local Ukrainians, both civilian and military, to help bring over 7
million dollars of aid and medical equipment to the Ukrainian front lines. On Thursday March 14th at 4:30pm Mark will share his rare insider view of the war effort in Ukraine, covering such topics as the rapid advancement of drone technology on the battlefield, observations on the command and control structure of the Ukrainian Army; how it has evolved and progress yet to be made, demining efforts on a piece of land the size of Florida, and challenges that the soldier faces on the battlefield when technology from 25 different countries arrives on the frontlines.
Mr. Lindquist will speak from 4:30pm to 5:30pm, followed by a mixer of drinks and appetizers. Event cost is $50 and includes a drink ticket. Proceeds will go to supporting Mark as he continues his mission. Space is limited, so make sure to register early.
