$36 Million for UAS Funding
- Grand Sky – $10M – to develop the next tranche of infrastructure at Grand Sky.
- BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight) – $23M – This project continues the Vantis network buildout and is headquartered in Grand Forks.
- UAS Test Site – $3.0 M – This statewide operation is also headquartered in Grand Forks.
This funding keeps North Dakota and Grand Forks a leader in UAS integration into the national airspace, meaning small, medium and large UAS companies will come to Grand Forks for testing, training, integration and operations.
